      2001年获得澳洲悉尼大学医学博士学位。现任澳大利亚卡尔弗利健康护理机构和坎宁安安宁疗护中心教授，以及澳大利亚圣母大学悉尼医学院兼职教授。

      她的主要研究领域是肿瘤心理学和安宁疗护（临终关怀），研究兴趣包括临床实践指导原则的建立、预后转移性癌症的沟通、医患沟通等。在教学研究的同时，她长期致力于安宁疗护方面的社区服务和志愿者教育工作，在澳洲著名临终关怀中心培训志愿者如何对丧亲者提供支持，担任澳洲政府老年事务部顾问。她同时也是“澳洲佛学心理咨询师与心理治疗师协会”管理委员会成员。

Professor Liz Lobb, PhD of Psychological Medicine, Sydney University, holds an academic appointment as professor of Palliative Care at Calvary Health Care Sydney and the Cunningham Centre for Palliative Care and an Adjunct appointment as Professor of Palliative Care (Allied Health) in the School of Medicine, the University of Notre Dame Sydney.

Professor Elizabeth Lobb has established national and international research collaborations and pursued independent multi-disciplinary clinical collaborations in oncology, haematology, cancer genetics and palliative care for17 years.

She has worked clinically as a bereavement counsellor for 24 years. She has facilitated post-graduate training in bereavement counselling for general practitioners, nurses, clinical psychologists, social workers and welfare workers.

She has been an advisor to the Commonwealth of Australia Department of Health & Ageing and the NSW Ministry of Health and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Palliative Care Network of the Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI). She is also a member of Australian Association of Buddhist Counsellors & Psychotherapists.
