Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche is a student of Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche and Kyabgon Sakya Trichen, and is author of several books on following the Buddhist path in the contemporary world. He heads the non-profit organizations Siddhartha's Intent, Khyentse Foundation and Lotus Outreach, and directs 84000 which is translating the Buddha's words into English. Rinpoche is currently active in advising fellow Tibetan lamas that modernization and westernization are very different.
